We know that our universe is almost infinite, science theorize that our planet is not the only one with the faculty to develop intelligent form of life, many people believe that aliens are already visiting us but we do not have a solid prove of that yet, maybe in the near future we will have an encounter with another form of life more advance than our.
If we have a contact whit an advance alien civilization with no religion or maybe a religion different to the ones we have on earth, would that change the system’s believes on earth…or maybe we will have another stupid intergalactic holy war (crusade) against them….I hope not…
well this the point where I would consider myself an agnostic person, because we cannot prove the existence of any form of intelligent life in other planets but, theres plenty of planets out there, so deny the possiblity of intelligent life, would may sound stupid but we cannot prove it so we have to remain agnostic about it,but coonsidering you hypothesis, we of course dont know if they have a belief system but if they can get this far to the universe, I will probably think that they more advance in technology as in science, they would certainly overpass any kind of dogmatism, so I would dismiss the idea of a holy intergalatic war.
thats my opinion
